Dave, Rhiannon, and Auntie Jill. Rhia just calls her "auntie" most of the time. She's sitting on her Dora couch/bed that Santa brought her. He also ate the cookies, and left his pipe behind! The reindeer ate the carrots, and she was just so excited about the whole thing. That night, she told Dave she was going to return Santa's pipe, and he would take her in his sleigh, and they would bring presents to Jasper and Sandy (our neighbors). She's at a cute age, for sure.

baby GIRL!! We had the ultasound this afternoon. It went great - the baby looks perfect! Healthy, gorgeous, and measuring right about 22 weeks, which is right where I'm supposed to be. We're thrilled to have another beautiful little girl in the family, and Rhiannon is excited about having a little sister.

I was making a batch of candles, and Rhiannon was amusing herself in her play area.

Our conversation went like this:
Rhia: "Baby get in the bucket?"
Me: "OK"
[pause]

She stripped off her jammies, pulled all her blocks out of the wagon, and climbed in. I'm not sure this was the intended use... that's her baby wrapped in her jammie shirt.

Wow, what happened to weekly posts???
I must apologize, I have been incredibly busy, although in a good way! I finished creating a website for my aunt Roz in WI, where she can now sell her beautiful cards, handmade from her own nature photography. Fey Communique has evolved into a partnership project, actually, since I am busy launching a candle business, Glow Diva Candles. As soon as I am ready, I will be selling them through that site as well. Exciting times!

I don't have any recent photos of Rhiannon to share, unfortunately. But I thought I would give an update. She is talking nonstop now, and she amazes me every day with the things she comes up with! The other day, we were in the kitchen talking, and she said "Oh, Mama! Try to relax, it'll be OK." !! I laughed so hard. The joys of having a 3-foot tall comedian in the house.
She's a little Drama Queen, and loves to sing songs. She sings the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, You are my Sunshine, and Rocky Baby (her version of Rock-a-Bye Baby). She can count to 10 perfectly, and we're working on the numbers up to 20. She also knows all of her colors, and some shapes. I, of course, think she is incredibly advanced for a two-year-old, but I *may* be biased!

She still talks about Grandma and Grandpa from their visit, and we are now looking forward to a visit from her other grandma in Feb.!

I'll try to post more updates/photos on a regular basis, although I doubt it will be weekly for a while. I promise to try for once a month at least!!!!

Merry Christmas!

We have had a wonderful holiday. Dean and Jenine arrived Christmas Eve morning, after an easy trip. Rhiannon loves having her grandparents around to play with her and give her far too many goodies. She started opening presents that afternoon, and didn't open her last gift until Sunday (the day after Christmas)! So she has been having quite the time.

We've really enjoyed having the folks here as well - we all made lefse yesterday! Yum! They seem to be enjoying themselves as well; Dean is bent on keeping the casinoes in business, single-handedly. ;)

Here are some pictures from the weekend, I will try to keep them in some sort of order. I should be able to post more once Dean sends me the ones off of their camera; these are just the ones I have on hand. I wish all of our families could be here right now! We have been thinking of everyone, and wish you could all be here with us too.

We're happy she has new people to play with. :)
